we’ve waited here so long for a single song that shakes us down to our bones and tells us where to go there we are in the middle of the night driving fast to chase the sunlight on a goal we’ll never know, but our hearts are on the road wave goodbye to normal life, with all this pain and strife my hearts got road in it’s sights and we’re moving on tonight there we are in the middle of the night driving fast to chase the sunlight on a goal we’ll never know, but our hearts are on the road do you wish you could drop it all and go, ride out into the unknown I know these memories will carry me for the rest of my life or wherever I may go give in to the sound that you remember, the only sound you know will light the way back home

This marks the spot in the catalyst of hits to where our hearts did stop, the rhythm it’s been seeing so i'll take these dreams handed down to me, and throw them out with my memories though my heart won't stop the rhythm its been bleeding My whole life i’ve apologized for the problems that were never mine cause i'm chewing on the lines that they’ve been feeding You can dream on your own, you can change the world if you hold on to the visions of your youth Alright, it’s gone on long enough it time to open up, these faded boring cuts, are lame outdated junk and they will never run if our feet can't touch the ground Its time to cast aside irrationality it’s time to redefine social humanity and it’ll never be unless we’re all agreed we’re taking ourselves too seriously We can do it, Elitist Generation We can think for ourselves. I know you're afraid to let go of these chains all this fear has left you scarred and tremblin they will judge and they will judge but if they push they’ll never budge cause they are scared to, they’re afraid just like you NANANA NANANA NANANANANANANA WHOA OH OH

How could the sun rise on a place that’s been forsaken for so long i see it in our eyes we had the chords, but we didn’t have the song all of our hearts were broken and mended by this city covered in the sound we just needed a place to call our own, we just needed a place to get down you're screaming from your bedroom baby we know you never want to be alone come scream it from the basement baby, we know every day I think would young me be proud of the man I am now or would he turn right around hang his head down would he leave without a sound in the morning when the sunlight cracks over these frozen hills I think of every heart and soul in that room and the parties we threw that killed We will live in these time forever We will live in these times for... But we will grow old and break down...

doesn’t make much sense to me you wear your heartache on your sleeve like a badge of honor held on by non stop complaining don't care about your problems unless those problems are your own that you made for yourself you're going to die old and alone your lonely lifestyle met with razors, your constant complaining is bringing me down your heart is locked down in a world you built around yourself and no one else got everything you could ever want, nothing that you’d ever need and still you feel like the world is smiling while you are drowning do you know i think of you, you're wasted privilege and wasted youth you put your dukes up when no one is there to listen to you your lonely lies and met with razors, your constant complaining is bringing me down your heart is locked down in a world you built around yourself and no one else got everything you could ever want nothing that you’d ever need, and still you feel like the world is smiling while you’re drowning do you know what I think of you? You’re wasted privilege and wasted youth you put your dukes up when know one is there to listen to you first world problems complain complain but is there more to life than what keeps us alive? is there more to life than breathing?

Not So Proud 01:12
when did the everyday life become the everyday grind am i the only one who thinks outside the lines seems like we're bowing out day after day the only help we're giving is helping each other drown. living will tear you down, till we are all worn out but we’ll make it out alright when did the everyday life become the everyday grind am i the only one who thinks outside the lines it’s time to tear down these walls and make our move across the world that’s been yearning for our hearts are set to prove till we are let down we are not so proud....

ever since were born were taught that financial gains the only way to grow but misery and pain will come no matter what your precious bank account would say you’ll have to trust me when I say that the greatest things in life I know they can’t be bought or sold I wouldn’t trade a single experience for a dollar bill, i know that in my heart and soul this life's worth more than gold you’ll have to trust me when I say that the greatest things in life I know they can’t be bought or sold I wouldn’t trade a single experience for a dollar bill, i know that in my heart and soul this life's worth more than gold but in the heat of desperation, this oh so willing nation takes control we’ll give away our dollars and thankfully pay for schools and needed homes. and the choir goes... financial strain has become way too much for me, heading back to zero

If I had a dollar for every bridge i’d burned down i’d be a wealthy man and if you could know all the nights that i’ve cried out aloud you’d know who I am I don't measure a man in the lovers that he gets no, i'm too old for this I only measure a man by all of his regrets and yet how he gets through it how he gets through the oldest story ever told what i really am, you’ll never know and the more we live, the more we grow you’ve got to be worth your weight in gold be worth your weight in gold I don't measure a man by the god that he feels blessed no, i'm too old for this I only measure a man when his heart is under stress and yet how he gets through it What matters most, i’ve been told are hearts of gold.

Now is our time, we’re changing everything just drop your life and go we don't need anything for every home sick feeling just keeping me here this is everything I love and everything I fear you close your eyes, dream of a different life I will take you there, just pack your bags tonight for every dumb struck feeling just keep me here this is everything you love and everything you fear but if we head towards the hills, we might make it out tonight we could make it to the coast in 10 hours time with some help and some luck you know we’ll be alright as long as we leave tonight just walk out on your job no matter what they say we’ll live off the land no money anyway for every hopeless feeling just keeping us here well this is everything we love and everything we fear tell them all to fuck off we’re gonna change the world I’ll always be your man (you’ll always be my girl) for every dumpstered feeling just keeping us here we’re gonna show them all tonight through all the heart and tears

Nowhere Kids 03:38
Saturday mornings spent skating through the break of dusk we were lost, nowhere to go and we wonder why they rush through life to put blinders on if you want happiness don't tell a soul... that’s the only thing you need to know our whole lives they all looked down on us so we were forced now, to go out on our own so we turned to the only thing that inspires us the sound waves on your radio If you had a chance to live your life, why would you just choose to die instead of waiting for the end of days feels like you’re at the bottom of the list but there’s hope for suburban kids the city sounds will lead the way we are the nowhere kids screaming out your stereo with no place left to go

we could take a life full of centuries just to find the money to feed all the helpless hearts dying in the streets, let alone the cities if you listen at night you can hear them cry for their lives they’re so alone they just need a hand to help them on their feet let alone a warm meal and home are you alright? are you too rich to fight for their lives? are you too rich to fight tonight? how can you judge them all to die when you can see the pain in their eyes with every new family hurt tonight, you just see dollar signs why’s it raining on me tonight? am i too angry to be alive, to unprivileged to be alright? I nearly watched my uncle die with his wife right by his side and his daughter had to sign the papers there, just to keep him alive or would they burn every mother who rolls in to a clinic because circumstances changed her life would you tell her that her choices are pay or die when you look straight in her eyes?

Loretta 02:44
Loretta don't leave me dry cause i'm sick of life and I want to have a good time Every new day is a heartache another long night spent alone the tick of the clock is the heart break pounding out the year like a metronome well this freight train is loaded and it’s rolling down full of memories and old city sounds and it’s not stopping till I hit the ground if i have a say it’s all coming down I'm a lonely ol’ man with rocks for teeth i'm looking for love but it ain't lookin for me when i close my eyes and i fall asleep I dream of a world with something to believe ‘cause sooner or later it all falls apart and it’s better to quit before you start you could be the strongest man with the strongest heart but life’s a stage, we’re all playing bit parts for all the misplaced friends and the empty regrets they left for me there is only one thing in this world thats ever let you down I’ve worked these aching hands down to the bone don't turn me away, just be a friend and help drink me to sleep

was it something that we did that lead us here to this special place inside of our hearts I know everything you’re writing down and I know every time you’re running out you wish it would all come round again a broken needle on a broken record a broken man with broken efforts I wish it would all come round again I know it takes so much more from me and I know this changes It changes everything I know this takes so much more the I’ve grown up to be I wish it would all come round again remember me as I fall if i’ll be up at all I'll make the same mistakes again I don't know where the bottle ends and I begin I guess i'll see you in the end.
